Italy announces upcoming 2026 sporting events

Various sporting events are scheduled across Italy for the summer and autumn of 2026.

In Castelnuovo Don Bosco, registration has opened for La Grande Corsa 2026. The rally, featuring both historic and modern cars, is set for September 12 and 13. The event includes regularity competitions for the Italian Championship and will feature a shakedown in Pino Torinese before racing through various special stages totaling approximately 71.9 kilometers.

In the Marsica region, the Cerchio Urban Trail is scheduled for August 22, 2026. Organized by the Comitato dei Festeggiamenti della Madonna delle Grazie 2026 and Gruppo Sportivo Celano 2.0 ASD, the 10.2-kilometer running race will traverse the historic center of Cerchio and the Santissima Trinità area, highlighting local landmarks such as the Church of San Bartolomeo.
