Italy automotive market shows growth in August 2026

The Italian automotive market showed growth in August 2026, with 69,411 units registered, representing a 3.2% increase compared to August 2025. For the first eight months of the year, total deliveries reached 1,129,596 units, an 8.5% increase year-over-year.

In terms of monthly sales, the FIAT Panda secured the top position with 4,685 units. Other leading models for August included the Dacia Sandero in second place with 2,158 units, followed by the Citroën C3, Jeep Avenger, and FIAT Grande Panda. Year-to-date rankings show the FIAT Panda leading with 75,998 units, followed by the Jeep Avenger and Dacia Sandero.

As September 2026 begins, several manufacturers are offering promotions, including discounts of up to 38% and zero-interest financing. Notable offers include zero-interest plans for the Alfa Romeo Tonale, Dacia Sandero Streetway, Fiat 500 Hybrid, Jeep Avenger, and Skoda Fabia.
