Italy celebrates National Vintage Vehicle Day with regional rallies

Various regional events are scheduled for Sunday, September 27, as part of the National Vintage Vehicle Day in Italy.

In Roveleto di Cadeo, within the Piacenza territory, the event will feature a wide array of historical vehicles, including cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors, and military vehicles. The program includes a presentation on the industrial history of Piacenza focused on Bubba tractors. A lunch organized by the Roveleto Pro Loco will raise funds for the ‘Casa di Iris’ hospice in Piacenza.

In the Alessandria area, a rally featuring MG and other British classic cars will take place. Organized by the Veteran Car Club P. Bordino and the Mg Car Club d’Italia, the event includes a tour through the Monferrato region. Participants will visit local agricultural sites, enjoy wine tastings, and explore the ‘infernot’—traditional underground sandstone cellars used for wine storage.
