Italy: Constitutional defense and anti-fascist commemorations

In Naples, the association ‘Officina Costituzione’ has been established by legal professionals and civil society members to address perceived threats to the Italian Constitution. Co-presidents Giovanna De Minico and Pierluigi Picardi launched the group to debate judicial reforms, the reform of the Court of Auditors, differentiated autonomy, and electoral reform. The association’s manifesto warns of a ‘constitutional emergency,’ suggesting that certain proposed reforms could compromise the unity of the Republic.

In Monticelli D'Ongina, the ANPI (National Association of Italian Partisans) is organizing the 10th edition of ‘Resistenza in Festa.’ The event focuses on the values of the Constitution and anti-fascism, featuring discussions on legality, the role of partisans, and social projects, alongside musical performances.
