Italy courts mandate compensation for public defenders and municipal fines after legal rulings

Separately, the municipality of Marcianise agreed to cover expenses arising from court cases that overturned speed‑camera fines issued by the Tutor system. The town will pay over €11,500 to settle legal costs for motorists who successfully challenged the tickets, adding to the €865,800 already transferred to the Province of Caserta as the municipality’s share of Tutor revenue.
