Italy cycling routes highlight historical paths in Tuscany and Lombardy

In Tuscany, the Merse Valley offers a 22-kilometer cycling route through the Antica Via Maremmana. This historic pastoral path, used for centuries during seasonal livestock movements, connects Siena to the Tyrrhenian coast.
