Italy ecommerce rankings show Amazon and food delivery leaders

The August 2026 Ecommerce Italia rankings by Casaleggio Associati reveal key trends in the Italian online market. Amazon remains the top ecommerce site in the general Top 100, followed by Booking.com. Subito has moved up to third place, surpassing eBay, while Temu has dropped to fifth.

In the food sector, Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Glovo lead the rankings. The food industry shows a high concentration of domestic presence, with 95% of active companies in the sector based in Italy, though this figure drops to 40% when looking specifically at the top ten operators.

Significant growth was observed in the fashion sector, with brands such as Intimissimi, Tezenis, and Terranova gaining numerous positions. In the betting and casino category, Betflag saw the highest growth, climbing 43 positions.
