Italy economy sees 85 billion euro turnover increase
Data from the Unimpresa Study Center indicates a significant increase in Italian turnover for 2025. Based on electronic invoicing, total taxable amounts reached 3,390.9 billion euros, up 85.5 billion euros (2.6%) from 2024.
This growth was primarily driven by businesses and other non-individual entities, which accounted for 98% of the total increase. While northern regions continue to produce the largest absolute value of national wealth, Southern Italy (Mezzogiorno) showed a growth rate exceeding the national average, rising by more than 5%.
The data suggests an economic recovery led by the organized productive system, which has demonstrated a greater capacity to increase investment, production, and turnover compared to individual economic activities.
