Italy Enhances Archaeological Sites with New Exhibitions and Audioguides

The National Archaeological Museum of Paestum opened a new exhibition titled “Paestum fuori le mura” in the presence of Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli and Campania Regional Council Vice‑President Giuseppe Fabbricatore. The project, backed by Vice‑Minister of Foreign Affairs Edmondo Cirielli and former Minister Gennaro Sangiuliano, adds significant funding to the site and its counterpart Velia, aiming to boost cultural tourism in the region.

In Umbria, the ancient Roman city of Carsulae launched a modern audio‑guide system in Italian and English, announced by Tourism Assessor Tiziana Laudadio. Managed by Orologio Network in partnership with the municipality and the regional museum directorate, the guides complement recent upgrades such as a new bookshop, online ticketing, and a combined ticket with the Cascata delle Marmore, enhancing visitor experience and accessibility.
