Italy expands free mental‑health outreach with beach and family events

On 22 July 2026 a free psychology session took place at the Bagni Sporting beach club in Sestri Levante, hosted by psychologist Alessandro Iacubino. The event is part of the national "Diritto a stare bene" campaign, which seeks a law to create a public network of free psychological assistance across schools, workplaces, prisons and sport venues.

The day before, 21 July 2026, the Consultorio Familiare in Cadegliano Viconago held a free workshop titled “Le parole che uniscono”. Psychologists Carolina Burtini and Amneris Magnaghi led the session, encouraging parents and educators to improve family communication. Both events aim to raise awareness, reduce stigma and promote preventive mental‑health care, without providing clinical treatment.
