Italy expands SAI reception system with 3,202 new spots

The Italian Ministry of the Interior has announced the expansion of the SAI reception system through three new notices funded by FAMI. The initiative aims to create 3,202 new positions, including 2,402 ordinary spots, 500 for unaccompanied foreign minors, and 300 for individuals with mental or health-related disabilities. Local authorities can submit funding requests via the FNAsilo platform from mid-September until November 10, 2026.

In other regional news, the city of Padova has opened applications for the ‘Padova2030’ award, recognizing businesses contributing to sustainability and innovation through energy efficiency or local sourcing. Additionally, the World PR Awards has extended its application deadline to September 25, 2026, for international communication projects.
