Sources close to the ruling coalition indicate a window between 11 and 18 April 2027, aiming to complete the final economic package and key fiscal measures before the end of 2026. The timing would also limit opposition parties from using local elections to challenge the government. Any decision would still require the President of the Republic to dissolve the chambers.

Parliamentary pension rules add a technical constraint: members elected in 2022 must serve until at least 14 April 2027 to retain full pension rights, suggesting the earliest feasible date would be the first Sunday in April.
