In the Amalfi Coast, concerns have been raised regarding the compatibility of large tourist buses with the narrow SS163 highway, following incidents where heavy vehicles caused significant traffic paralysis.

Meanwhile, in Pozzuoli, maritime service adjustments are causing friction. The shipping company Medmar has expressed difficulty implementing new routes between Ischia and Naples due to port limitations in Pozzuoli. The company noted that the proposed changes could effectively cancel the established Ischia-Pozzuoli connection, affecting thousands of passengers, and has requested public funding to support alternative service options.
