Residents of Pozzuoli have warned that a former emergency‑relief site on Via Arco Felice Vecchio remains abandoned, creating fire hazards, stray animals and sanitary concerns. The area, partly municipal and partly private, has not been maintained despite repeated complaints.

In Ferrara, citizens have petitioned the local water and sewage department after repeated basement floods following the heavy rain of July 15. They allege that the existing sewer network is inadequate and request a detailed work schedule, pipe replacement and upgrades to prevent further damage. The appeal stresses that “Basta allagamenti, servono interventi sulla rete fognaria.”
