Italy healthcare managers to receive phased salary increases through 2027
Aran and trade unions have signed a draft collective agreement for the healthcare sector covering the 2025-2027 period. The agreement aims to increase the average monthly gross salary for healthcare managers by approximately 560 euros, though the actual amount will vary based on professional profiles, specific roles, and individual allowances.
The increase is structured in stages. The fixed base salary (tabellare) is set to rise by 125 euros gross per month starting January 1, 2025, increasing to 240 euros per month from January 1, 2026. This base increase is part of a larger total that includes roughly 393 euros from contractual increases and 167 euros from additional resources for specific professional indemnities.
For doctors and veterinarians, the specificity indemnity is expected to reach 11,653.30 euros gross annually by 2026, while non-medical healthcare managers will see an indemnity of 2,556.60 euros. The full implementation of these increases, including the final 33% installment, is expected to reach its plateau by January 1, 2027, at which point back pay will also be processed.
