Italy highlights new culinary literature and gastronomic events

Several new culinary literary works and events are being highlighted in Italy. Fulvio Marino has released a new book titled ‘Nel forno di casa. Le mie ricette per tutti’, published by Slow Food Editore. The guide contains 186 recipes ranging from simple doughs to complex leavening processes, covering pizzas, breads, pastries, and gluten-free options. The work emphasizes the practical connection between theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.

In Florence, the second edition of the literary-gastronomic review ‘Mangiarsi le Parole’ is being held at the Istituto Alberghiero A. Saffi. Chef Filippo Cogliandro, known for his anti-racket activism, will present his book ‘Io chef per la mia terra’, co-authored with Oreste Paliotti. The event features a tasting session where students from the institute prepare dishes inspired by the literary themes, connecting food with social legality and regional identity.
