Italy hosts community justice and legality awareness events

In Pisa, an event scheduled for September 17 at the Botanical Garden aims to introduce citizens to community justice. Organized by the District Office for External Criminal Execution in collaboration with various local associations, the initiative highlights alternative sentencing and community-based measures. These legal tools allow individuals to perform social service and engage in community activities as a substitute for traditional detention, focusing on personal change and social reintegration.

In Bisuschio, students from ISIS Valceresio participated in a meeting on September 12 focused on legality, rules, and freedom. Organized by the Youth Council and the association Lampi Blu, the event featured police officers and lawyers. Participants, including State Police Chief Inspector Paolo Macchi and Inspector Marco Montefusco, shared insights into law enforcement operations, emergency management, and the daily responsibilities of maintaining public security and interacting with citizens.
