Italy hosts international ceramic and stone sculpture exhibitions

The 9th edition of Argillà Italia, an international ceramic festival, is taking place in Faenza. The event features 250 exhibiting ceramicists representing 30 different nations, with 90 collateral events including exhibitions and workshops. The festival showcases various styles, including porcelain, maiolica, and stoneware, and includes activities such as Kintsugi seminars and live monumental ceramic performances.

In Biella, the exhibition ‘PIETRA. Il tempo scolpito’ is scheduled to run from October 3 to November 29, 2026, at the Lanificio Maurizio Sella. Curated by Dina Pierallini and Elena Bermond des Ambroise and produced by Fondazione Sella, the exhibition features twelve contemporary artists working with marble and stone. The display integrates monumental sculptures within the industrial archaeology landscape of the former textile mill and explores the local history of stone craftsmanship.
