Italy hosts legal conferences on corporate crisis management

Legal and economic professionals in Italy are convening to discuss new frameworks for managing corporate crises and business restructuring. In Naples, the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts held a conference focusing on the role of professionals in negotiated compositions. Matteo De Lise, president of the Naples Order, emphasized that accountants are central to the recovery processes of companies facing economic difficulties, acting as a bridge between businesses, the Revenue Agency, and the courts.

Additionally, a major conference titled ‘The New Law of Crisis: Business Recovery and New Perspectives on Liquidation’ is scheduled for October 2026 in Fiuggi. Organized by the Bar Association of Frosinone in collaboration with the Frosinone Order of Accountants, the event will address new European directives. The conference is expected to feature high-level participation from the Italian judiciary and academia, including representatives from the Ministry of Justice, to foster dialogue on the legal and social challenges of economic instability.
