Italy hosts renewable energy and solar industry events

Italy is hosting two significant industry events focused on the renewable energy transition. The first, the Renewable Energy Meeting (REM) 2026, recently took place in Taranto. Organized by Teksud in partnership with the law firm Legance, the meeting drew over 150 participants, including energy sector operators, professionals, and institutional representatives. Discussions centered on agrivoltaics, future mobility, and the technical and regulatory challenges of integrating renewable sources, specifically addressing the needs of Southern Italy.

Additionally, the second edition of Solar & Storage Live Italia is scheduled for October 7-8, 2026, at Veronafiere in Verona. This event expects over 5,000 professionals and will feature 110 exhibitors and more than 150 speakers. Supported by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, the exhibition will cover five thematic areas: Battery & Storage, Utility Scale, Commercial & Industrial, Solar Residential, and a new section dedicated to Business Strategy & Finance. The event aims to showcase technologies ranging from photovoltaic modules and inverters to battery storage and grid connection solutions.
