Italy hosts robotics events in Viano and Milan

On 31 July 2026 the town of Viano in the Emilia‑Romagna region held the eighth edition of the Festa della Meccatronica. Organized by the local Pro Loco and supported by E80 Group, the evening featured a food‑truck area, a team‑based robotics tournament, a comedy show by Gigi Rock, live performances by Branco Band, Evolution 80 and a final DJ set. Mayor Fabrizio Corti highlighted the event as a showcase of regional innovation and community collaboration.

From 13 to 16 October 2026 the 35th BI‑MU exhibition will take place at Fiera Milano. The trade fair focuses on machine tools, robotics and digital manufacturing. The RobotHeart showcase, sponsored by the Italian Association for Robotics and Automation (SIRI), will present the latest smart‑robotics solutions, with participation from companies such as ABB Robotics Italy and speakers like Dario Daprà of TIESSE ROBOT. The event will also host university researchers, start‑ups and component manufacturers, offering technical consultations and a free entry pass for registered visitors.
