Italy hosts seminars on writing, health communication, and ecological reporting

Various educational and professional training initiatives are scheduled across Italy, focusing on writing, health communication, and environmental journalism.

The University of Trento will host a series of seminars titled “Scrivere. Scienza, stile, teatro, musica” from September 29 to November 24. The program explores writing as a research practice and cultural expression, covering topics such as academic style, personal narrative, handwriting, and writing for theater and music.

In Rome, the National Federation of Italian Journalists (FNSI) is organizing specialized training courses. On October 9, a seminar will address the ecological transition in the Mediterranean, focusing on biodiversity, the blue economy, and climate change reporting ahead of the COP Climate summit. Additionally, on October 20, a session titled “Communication and health in deontological codes” will be held at the Higher Institute of Health to help journalists and healthcare professionals manage sensitive information and combat disinformation and infodemia.
