Italy hosts Vada Photo Festival and Il Post Talk series, boosting regional culture

The sixth edition of the Vada Photo Festival took place in the town of Vada from 20 to 23 August. The event, themed “Nostalgia – The Aesthetic of Return,” featured exhibitions, workshops, and talks with Italian and international photographers, including a showcase by American Deanna Dikeman. Organisers highlighted community involvement, with local schools, museums and senior homes participating in collaborative projects.

From 18 to 20 September, the online newspaper Il Post staged a three‑day “Talk” program in Faenza. The cultural series, supported by the municipality and the Emilia‑Romagna region, offered free entry on Friday and ticketed sessions on the following days. Journalists, writers, economists and artists such as Concita De Gregorio, Francesco Piccolo and chef Chiara Pavan took part in discussions and performances, emphasizing dialogue across the local cultural scene.
