Italy hosts various literary events and book presentations
Various literary events and book presentations are scheduled across Italy.
In Rieti, writer and magistrate Simona Lo Iacono will present her novel ‘Joanna degli incanti’ on September 4, 2026, at Palazzo Marcotulli. The book explores themes of female freedom and the Inquisition in 17th-century Sicily.
On Elba Island, the ‘Storie Itineranti in Piazza’ series will feature Andrea Meschi. He will present his debut novel, ‘Chiù e i Pirati’, which is set during the 16th-century Saracen pirate incursions. The presentations are scheduled for September 3 in Marciana Marina and September 4 in Marina di Campo.
Additionally, actor and writer Paolo Stella is set to present his novel ‘True’ at the Teatro Alfeo in Syracuse on September 27. The work is an autobiographical account focusing on an intense adolescent relationship.
