Italy hosts various Summer School programs for research and youth

Various Summer School initiatives are launching across Italy to foster research, culture, and youth development.

In Vasto, an international Summer School and the “Passeurs e Passaggi” conference are scheduled for September 25 and 26. Organized by the Municipality of Vasto and the Centro europeo di studi rossettiani, the event focuses on the transmission of Italian culture to European countries, including Spain, France, the UK, and Germany. The program aims to connect students and citizens with international scholars and includes cultural performances.

In Cassano allo Ionio, the Festival delle Opportunità has commenced its 2026 Summer School. The three-day program brings together young participants from various Italian regions, including Calabria, Basilicata, Campania, and others, to develop ideas and proposals for the upcoming festival. The curriculum includes workshops at the Sibari Lakes and the Grotte di Sant’Angelo, focusing on identifying opportunities and designing actionable community projects.
