Various wine-related events and educational programs are scheduled across Italy. The Associazione Italiana Sommelier (AIS) Lazio has opened registrations for professional qualification courses. These sessions will be held in the Rieti area, with classes starting October 21 at Ristorante La Foresta and October 29 at Ristorante Da Tonino in Albaneto.

In Piedmont, the Old Vine Conference (OVC) will host its 2026 edition, 'Radici Vive', at the Fontanafredda estate in Serralunga d’Alba on December 2. Led by Tamlyn Currin of JancisRobinson.com, the conference will examine the role of old vines in the wine industry. The program includes visits to five Piedmontese wineries from December 1 to 4.

Additionally, the town of Siamaggiore in Sardinia will host the first 'Radici di Vino' event on October 3, 2026. Organized by the Comitato Rinascita di Pardu Nou, the festival will feature twelve local wineries, gastronomy, and music at the Pardu Nou grove to promote regional excellence.
