Marina di Modica to host Italian Beach Volley Gold stage

The Italian Beach Volley Absolute Championship’s Gold stage will be held in Marina di Modica, Sicily, from 10 July (qualifications) to 12 July 2026 (main draw). Registrations closed with 60 pairs entered – 31 women’s teams and 29 men’s teams – of which 58 will compete after two withdrawals.

The tournament is organised by ISOCI together with Regione Sicilia, the Libero Consortium of Ragusa and the Municipality of Modica. Top Italian players are confirmed, including double‑Gold‑stage winner Daniele Lupo, who will partner Andrea Frinolli, as well as national champions Manuel Alfieri, Alex Ranghieri, Giacomo Spadoni and the women’s champions Chiara They, Sara Breidenbach, Alice Gradini and others. Lupo said, “The beach, the enthusiasm, the warmth of the people… makes this the most beautiful stage in Italy.”
