Italy implements new lighting for historic monuments and sports venues

In Marigliano, the bell tower of the Santa Maria delle Grazie collegiate complex has been inaugurated with new lighting after years of darkness. The project, which aims to enhance the historical and symbolic landmark of the city skyline, was supported by a 25,000 euro contribution from the Campania Region under the 2025 regional stability law. The lighting follows previous restoration efforts, including the cleaning and sanitation of the tower's interior.

In Agrigento, the Esseneto stadium has reached a major milestone with the pre-testing of a new lighting system. The installation of four floodlight towers allows the historic venue to host night matches for the first time in decades. Local officials noted that the project fulfills a long-standing demand from the sporting community to modernize the facility.
