Italy inaugurates new school facilities in Villanova and Gatteo

New educational facilities have been inaugurated in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.

In Villanova, a new Montessori-inspired nursery school has opened to accommodate up to 75 children. The project, located at via di Villanova 510, represents a total investment of 3,387,000 euros. Funding was provided through the PNRR Next Generation Modena program, which contributed 2,400,000 euros, alongside municipal funds and contributions from Abitcoop. This new facility replaces the San Pancrazio school, which became unusable following a fire on September 12.

In Sant’Angelo di Gatteo, the Marino Moretti primary school and the Girasole nursery school have also been inaugurated following a decade-long redevelopment process. The municipality of Gatteo invested approximately 2.8 million euros in the project, which included 1.04 million euros in state contributions. The renovation aimed to create a modern, safe, and accessible environment for local students.
