Italy introduces fifth weekly Lotto and SuperEnalotto draw
The 2027 Budget Bill introduces an additional weekly draw for the Lotto and SuperEnalotto games, scheduled to take place every Wednesday. This change also extends to all optional and complementary games associated with these contests.
The Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) is required to implement the new schedule within 60 days of the law taking effect. The agency will also manage potential scheduling conflicts with national holidays, with the authority to postpone or advance draws to ensure regular programming.
Financial estimates suggest the additional draw will increase state revenue by 30.5 million euros in 2027 and 43.1 million euros from 2028 onwards.
