Italy: Investigations into police station death and workplace safety protests

In Calabria, a sit-in was held in Castrovillari by the Fillea Cgil union to demand justice for a construction worker who died in a workplace accident in Frascineto. The family and union members expressed frustration over the judicial delays, noting that thirty months have passed since the incident without a trial. The union is calling for improved safety measures in construction sites and faster legal proceedings.
