Italian health sector rolls out new pharmacy and vaccination training courses
The Spes Academy 'Carlo Azeglio Ciampi' has opened enrollment for its 2026‑27 high‑level training programme “Farmaco e Salute – Pilastri del Made in Italy”. The four‑month hybrid course, beginning 18 September, targets professionals under 45 in the pharmaceutical, biotech, health‑policy and related fields and offers 30 scholarships (10 fully funded, 20 partially funded). Early‑bird applicants receive an additional 5 % discount.
Separately, an online continuing‑education (ECM) course for pharmacist vaccinators becomes available on 28 July 2026 via the Istituto Superiore di Sanità platform. Developed with the Federazione degli Ordini dei Farmacisti Italiani and the Fondazione Francesco Cannavò, the programme awards 20.8 ECM credits and trains pharmacists to safely administer all vaccines included in Italy’s National Vaccination Prevention Plan (Pnpv) to patients aged 12 and older. Registrations run until 20 July 2027, with the course concluding on 27 July 2027.
