Global health initiatives launch cancer prevention and screening campaigns

Various regions across Latin America and Europe are launching health initiatives focused on cancer prevention, early detection, and patient support.

In Mexico, the state of Puebla is addressing high breast cancer rates in rural areas through mobile health caravans, while Nuevo Laredo is offering free mammographies for vulnerable women. Additionally, Puebla is organizing the ‘Latido Rosa’ race to fund women's health services.

In Spain, the AECC is hosting workshops and emotional support sessions, while Nobu Marbella is organizing charity events and a gala to benefit the association. In Argentina, organizations like AFELC and the Fundación Abriendo Surcos are conducting community dinners and marathons to raise awareness and funds.

European efforts include the ‘Make Sense Campaign’ in San Marino and Italy, providing free screenings for head and neck cancers. In Peru, health brigades are offering free screenings for various cancers to university students in Cusco.
