Italy launches Condominio Futuro urban regeneration program

On 30 July, the Horizon Eco Works consortium and We Made Società Benefit unveiled the "Condominio Futuro" programme, a nationwide urban‑regeneration initiative in Italy. The online conference attracted more than a thousand participants from across the country, including condominium administrators, real‑estate professionals, firms, technical experts, institutional representatives and investors, with commercial partners joining from Dubai.

The programme aims to replace reactive emergency maintenance with a structured, predictive approach to building upkeep and renewal, improving energy efficiency, sustainability and the economic and social value of the built environment. It seeks to create an ecosystem that links condominiums, investors, construction companies, financial institutions and public administrations. Program leaders Alessandro Pepe, president of Horizon Eco Works, and Wanda Sciarrino, CEO of We Made, said the first phase targets full operation throughout Italy by 2035, with a plan to offer the model to European markets from 2036 onward.
