Torino launches free psycho-educational support for neurodivergent youth

The Fondazione Istituto delle Rosine has launched a new social project in Torino providing free psycho-educational support for children and adolescents aged 3 to 14. The initiative focuses on neurodivergence, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, high cognitive potential, and socio-emotional difficulties.

A specialized team of psychologists will conduct individual sessions aimed at improving communication, social skills, emotional regulation, and daily autonomy. The program includes 12 structured meetings designed to complement existing local health services. Parents and caregivers are integrated into the process through guidance and feedback sessions to ensure skills are applied in daily life.

In a separate local initiative, Sinistra Italiana Aprilia is offering a free consultancy service for families, students, and teachers. This service aims to assist with school-related challenges, such as specific learning disabilities (DSA), special educational needs (BES), and linguistic disadvantages, providing a bridge through bureaucracy and study methods.
