Italy launches new educational and scholarship initiatives for youth

Various initiatives are being launched in Italy to support youth education and professional development, aiming to reduce economic barriers and retain talent within specific regions.

In Salerno, the Fondazione Saccone ETS is launching the fifth edition of the ‘Next Gen Talent School’ alongside the presentation of its values manifesto. The program, authorized by the Campania Region, provides 15 scholarships and seeks to create professional opportunities that encourage young people to remain or return to the Campania region. The initiative involves several local partners, including the University of Salerno.

Additionally, the UniCredit Foundation, in collaboration with Fondazione Don Gino Rigoldi ETS, has expanded its ‘Uni. ON – Accendi il tuo futuro’ program to include Puglia and Veneto. The national program targets high school seniors in Campania, Lombardy, Puglia, and Veneto, offering access to a 100-hour immersive university campus and 200 scholarships worth 5,000 euros each for students enrolling in STEM and Economics faculties.
