Italy launches youth training programs in Frascati and Trani
Several educational initiatives for young people are launching in Italy to foster civic engagement and professional development in the social and political sectors.
In Frascati, the Centro Giovanni XXIII will host the FQTS Giovani training program from October 9 to 11, 2026. Titled ‘Being Third Sector, between voluntary commitment and work’, the event focuses on conflict management, volunteering, and territorial development. The program includes workshops and roundtables involving experts such as Michele Sorice from Sapienza University of Rome to explore the relationship between volunteering and professional labor.
Additionally, the Il Calamaio Cultural Association has announced the launch of the Academy of Higher Education in Conscious Citizenship in Trani. Running from November 2026 to June 2027, this free program is designed for individuals aged 18 to 25. The curriculum covers politics, institutions, economics, and democratic participation, featuring lectures from legal, political, and academic professionals. The academy aims to promote public ethics and provide tools for understanding contemporary institutional dynamics.
