Italy: Meloni's political strategy and D'Alema's Schengen criticism

Separately, former Prime Minister Massimo D'Alema has criticized the Italian government's decision to suspend the Schengen Treaty with Spain following the migration crisis in Ceuta. Speaking at an event in Martina Franca, D'Alema claimed the decision was an aggression against Spain and alleged that Israel was behind the move. He further criticized the current administration for its handling of the economy and the southern Italian regions.
