Italy Ministry of Health issues food recalls for tiramisu and sausage
The Italian Ministry of Health has issued urgent food recalls for several products due to safety concerns.
Gastronomia da Jack di Zazzali Giovanni is recalling two specific 200g batches of tiramisu (lots 23OTT26 and 26OTT26) produced in Albareto, Parma. The recall is a precautionary measure due to a physical risk involving the possible presence of a small steel sphere inside the containers.
Additionally, Salumi Emedue s. r. l., based in Picerno, Potenza, has initiated a large-scale recall of various sausage and salami products. These recalls, covering items such as fennel sausage, spicy sausage, and peppered salami paste, are due to a potential microbiological risk from suspected salmonella contamination. Consumers are advised to check expiration dates and return affected products to the point of purchase for a refund or replacement.
