Italy mourns several local figures and artists

Several notable figures in various Italian communities have recently passed away.

In Legnano, Attilia Novellini, aged 71, has died. She was a prominent member and former vice president of the Banca del Tempo, known for her extensive community involvement with organizations such as the Centro Italiano Femminile and the Consulta Territoriale Centro.

In Civitanova Marche, Giuseppe ‘Peppe’ Paolini has died at the age of 79. A former Atac driver and local political figure, Paolini was known for his outspoken views and involvement with the Italian Communist Party and ANPI.

Actress Fiorenza Marchegiani has passed away at age 73. She was recognized for her work in film, theater, and television, notably making her film debut in the 1981 movie ‘Ricomincio da tre’ alongside Massimo Troisi, and appearing in series such as ‘Vivere’ and ‘Elisa di Rivombrosa’.

In Modena, the community gathered to honor the life of artist Giuliano Della Casa. A ceremony was held to celebrate his contributions as a painter and teacher, attended by friends, students, and local officials.
