Italy national team debuts new tactical approach under Mancini

Roberto Mancini has initiated a new tactical approach for the Italian national football team following a victory in Bursa. The performance showcased an offensive-minded strategy focused on ball possession, utilizing a 4-3-3 formation that bears similarities to the system used during the Euro 2021 championship.

Giacomo Raspadori occupied the number 10 role, moving from the left flank to a playmaker position, while 21-year-old Inter Milan player Pio Esposito emerged as a potential future center-forward.

The match also highlighted the pressure on Turkey's manager, Vincenzo Montella, who faced local media calls for his resignation following the defeat. Mancini defended his former teammate, attributing Turkey's poor performance to Italy's superior tactical execution.
