Italy: November 2026 payroll and inclusion allowance updates
In November 2026, Italian workers and social benefit recipients will see specific changes to payment schedules and amounts due to the calendar and national regulations.
For employees, the fact that All Saints' Day falls on a Sunday may result in higher pay for some, depending on their National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL). For example, metalworkers may receive an additional one-twenty-sixth of their fixed monthly salary, while domestic workers like caregivers may receive a compensatory rest day or a similar fractional payment. Specific rules also apply to those who actually work on the holiday.
Regarding the Inclusion Allowance (Assegno di Inclusione), INPS has confirmed payment dates for November 2026. Because the 15th falls on a Sunday, the first disbursements will occur on Friday, November 13, for new beneficiaries and those receiving arrears. Subsequent payments for existing beneficiaries who maintain eligibility will be processed on Friday, November 27.
