Italy opens applications for Universal Civil Service positions

A new call for applications has been released for the Universal Civil Service in Italy, offering 3,767 volunteer positions across various sectors. The available roles are divided into agricultural (1,163 positions), environmental (596 positions), digital (1,000 positions), and self-financed (8 positions) programs.

Specific opportunities include four environmental service roles at Legambiente Lazio in Rome, with one position reserved for applicants with an ISEE below 15,000 euros. Additionally, the Municipality of Senigallia is participating in a digital education project titled ‘Comuni Digitali in Abruzzo e nelle Marche 2026’ through ANCI Lombardia.

The service requires a 12-month commitment at 25 hours per week, providing a monthly allowance of €519.47. Participants in the environmental service may also gain access to a 15% reserve for public competition positions. Applications must be submitted online via the official DOL platform by November 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
