Italy poll shows Meloni coalition falls as Vannacci's Futuro Nazionale gains

The latest Swg and Winpoll surveys indicate the governing coalition led by Giorgia Meloni has slipped to 40.9% of the vote, down from previous weeks. The centre‑left bloc, anchored by the Partito Democratico, now stands at 43.7%, overtaking the government coalition.

Fratelli d'Italia, the main party of the coalition, is recorded at about 25% while the Democratic Party registers around 22%, narrowing the gap to three points. Roberto Vannacci’s new party, Futuro Nazionale, continues to rise, reaching 7.2% and surpassing both Lega and Forza Italia, becoming the second force on the right.

The polls also note that the coalition’s 40.9% remains below the 42% threshold required for a majority prize under the electoral law currently debated in Parliament, raising questions about the stability of Meloni’s government.
