Italy prepares for 2027 teacher recruitment competition

The Italian Ministry of Education and Merit (MIM) has initiated organizational activities in preparation for the 2027 teacher recruitment competition. Preliminary steps include the census and testing of computer labs across the country to facilitate upcoming computer-based written exams.

Additionally, the Ministry has requested an opinion from the Higher Council of Public Education (CSPI) regarding modifications to 'Table B'. This change aims to redefine how cultural qualifications and service seniority are scored during the evaluation process.

The projected timeline aims for successful candidates to begin their roles by September 1, 2027. To meet this goal, the official call for applications is expected by the end of 2026, outlining participation requirements, available positions, and examination programs.
