Italy achieves multiple youth sports victories in rowing, volleyball and basketball

Italy achieved significant success in international youth sports competitions. In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Carolina Cassani and Letizia Martorana won the U19 Women's coxless pair World Championship, setting a new world record with a time of 7:10.77. The Italian rowing team also saw strong performances in other categories, including the men's coxless four and the men's coxless pair.

In women's volleyball, the Italy U17 national team secured their second consecutive victory at the World Championships in Chile, defeating the Dominican Republic 3-1. Hillary Uwadiae led the team with 26 points. The squad remains undefeated in Group D.

In basketball, the Italy U21 women's team won the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League in Bratislava, defeating Czechia in the final. Conversely, the Italy U21 men's team finished as runners-up after losing to Germany.
