Italy promotes Campania summer festivals and a global tasting tour
A range of traditional food festivals are scheduled across Campania for July 2026, including the Sagra della Lumaca in Moiano, the Sagra degli Antichi Sapori in Pignataro Maggiore, the Sagra del Cinghiale in Dugenta, and the Sagra delle Pennette all’Ogliarese in Salerno. Each event will feature local specialties such as melanzane, pork, wild boar dishes, and regional pasta, accompanied by live music, dances and market stalls.
Meanwhile, Italian beverage company Pellegrini has launched a “high‑graduation” summer travel concept that pairs selected wines and spirits from six countries – Italy, Spain, Mexico, Jamaica, the United States and Japan – with stories of their regional heritage. Highlights include the Calabrian Essenza Mediterranea vermouth, a 1918 Solera Sherry from Jerez, an eight‑year‑old mezcal from Oaxaca, and a Jamaican Navy Island XO Reserve rum.
