Italy reports two separate medical emergencies in Cantalupo Ligure and Siderno
Two separate medical emergencies have been reported in Italy. In Cantalupo Ligure, a 70-year-old woman was rescued in critical condition near the Borbera stream. Medical personnel believe she suffered a severe heatstroke due to high temperatures and sun exposure. After being stabilized on-site, she was airlifted by emergency helicopter to the Santi Antonio e Biagio hospital in Alessandria, where she was placed in intensive care.
In Siderno, a woman was found dead in the sea near a public beach. Emergency responders arrived shortly after being alerted by bystanders, but they were unable to revive her. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of her death, including whether an unexpected medical event occurred while she was in the water. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
