Italy Reports Two Serious Road Accidents in Montefiascone and San Giorgio di Susa

A van lost control on via Cardinal Salotti in the town of Montefiascone, struck several parked cars and crashed into a retaining wall early on 4 August. The driver was taken to the Santa Rosa hospital in Viterbo for treatment; no fatalities were reported.

Later on 2 August, a front‑side collision occurred near the A32 highway exit at San Giorgio di Susa. A Fiat Panda turning onto the ramp hit a motorcycle, killing the motorcyclist and leaving the passenger with severe injuries. The car driver suffered only minor injuries. Emergency services, including ambulances, a medical helicopter and fire crews, responded and transported the victims to hospitals in Turin and Susa.

Both incidents prompted police investigations to determine the exact causes of the crashes.
