Italy roadworks: Traffic restrictions announced in Forio and Bari
Various road maintenance and infrastructure projects are scheduled across different regions in Italy, leading to temporary traffic and parking restrictions.
In Forio, the municipality has issued an ordinance for extraordinary maintenance on via Aiemita, vico D’Ascia, and via Pannella between October 5 and October 13. The works involve pavement scarification and the laying of new bituminous conglomerate. Depending on the specific street and phase of work, both parking and transit bans will be implemented during daytime hours to facilitate the repairs.
In Bari, Anas has scheduled works on the Statale 16 ‘Adriatica’ as part of the Bari-Brindisi-Lecce route redevelopment. From October 5 to November 6, the overtaking lane will be closed in both directions near km 815. The project involves replacing the central median strip with a new barrier that meets current regulatory standards. During this period, traffic will be restricted to a single lane in each direction.
